So what’s with the ‘opiate’ part of the title?
The Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery defines opiates (in part):
“…Also known as narcotics, opiates can be natural or synthetic….Heroin is an opioid manufactured from morphine. Heroin has no medicinal uses; it is used for its ability to give the user a feeling of euphoria. “
Under ‘What Are The Warning Signs”, they state (in part):
“…When a person becomes dependent, finding and using the drug often becomes the main focus in life…”
This is religion; a synthetic, man-made, opioid, backed by politics and enforced over centuries, becoming the main focus in life for millions. It has no basis in truth, facts, or evidence; it’s entirely artificial.
As such, this artificial, synthetic, drug, ‘religion’, is little more than the feared ‘bogeyman’ of childhood nightmares, successfully pushed, spoon-fed, and forced upon humanity – under pain of death – ensuring addiction. And with it (amongst countless other atrocities in general), the subjugation and slavery of women, the absolute denial of their natural gifts, healing powers, and sight, and the slaughter of their rightful place in humanity.
(Makes one wonder why christianity in particular, and religion in general, has always been so terrified of women.)
So now, humanity has come to need its fix of fear and artificially induced euphoria – because, let’s face it, one doesn’t come without the other. It reminds me of people who need a fix of fear by watching horror movies.
I believe religion is losing its power and hold over us as a race. The veil of religious ignorance and fear that’s blinded humanity for centuries, is now being seen for what it is. And although humanity may experience temporary withdrawal symptoms, for the most part, I believe we’re determined to be free of the chains of ignorance, fear and lies that bind – and that’s always a good thing.
Long live the internet, the sciences, archaeology and, most of all, humanity.
I believe in us.

Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks!
lol You’re most welcome. Thank you for choosing ‘Camp HeathenHeart’
The interwebs will kill superstition, childish dogma, and any sense of a personal god…. and the sooner the better. Silliness will still be a human staple, but i’d accept 1 million UFO cults if it meant Christianity, Islam and Judaism died an ugly death.
It would be lovely to see humanity mature and throw away the childish superstitions of religion – forever

Oh, I wouldn’t have it any other way!!
Oddly enough, neither would I
Probably something to do with how “they” think good things are wicked and wicked things are good, so if THEY think I’m wicked, I must be doing something right
Now that sounds suspiciously logical to me!
Damn women and their damn suspicious logical conclusions!!!!
I think that’s part of what kicked it all off in the first place…
Yep, now we know how the cycle began….
I do believe so…or at least, part of it.
Definitely. Thanks for running all over the blogs with me tonight! We should do it again sometime. But I am just feeling the effects of my five-hour flight this morning and probably will collapse at any moment. Buenos noches, mi bonita amiga!
Sweet dreams, girlfriend. Feel free to email me any time you want to chat (email is in the ‘Home’ page).
I think Christianity’s fear of women is mystifying as well. As if our power is so strong it needs to be corralled so tightly. I am enjoying unleashing it!
Oh it’s strong, alright – and perfectly natural. Although they never needed to fear us, they deserve to now.
Oooh. I like that. I like that far, farrrr too much. 3:)
What a pair of wicked ‘wimmin’ we are, huh? *wink*
